SUMMARY:Tracking Tilburg
DESCRIPTION:Zaterdag 18 november organiseert De Link in de LocHal Tracking Tilburg. Het belooft een zeer avontuurlijke muzikale gebeurtenis te worden. In het hele gebouw is van 12.00 uur tot 16.00 uur hedendaagse muziek te horen. Ik ben als Stadscomponist prominent aanwezig: \nVan 13.15 tot 13.45: Franssen/Palinckx spelen uit het Jacq P-songbook. Het eerste echte duo optreden van fluitiste Marieke Franssen en ikzelf op elektrische gitaar. Met nieuwe composities en een dwarsdoorsnede van mijn muziek door de jaren heen in nieuwe versies. \nVan 13.30 tot 15.00: mijn laatste  film Enantiodromia is 3x te zien. \nVan 14.00 tot 15.00: geef ik de workshop ‘maak je eigen zoemsteen’. Kom langs en je maakt je eigen snorrebot/zoemhout/bora-bora/bull roarer.Je leert ook hoe de zoemsteen te bespelen. \nVan 15.00 tot 15.45: een optreden van het orkest CoMa Eindhoven. Met oa de première van mijn compositie Amok. In deze compositie speelt de Tilburg (0)13 toonsreeks een hoofdrol \nOm 15.45: De afsluitende performance ‘Zoemsteen’ met deelnemers van de workshop\, het Tilburg Bull Roarer Ensemble en Coma Eindhoven. \nVerder: Van 12.00 tot 16.00: 20x de Stadscomponist!Op diverse plekken in de Lochal zijn de zes korte muziekvideo’s te zien die ik tot nu toe als Stadscomponist gemaakt heb voor social media\, aangevuld met veertien ‘Alle 14 goed’ video’s. \nKomt dat zien en horen!

DESCRIPTION:Op dinsdagavond 28 november ben ik als Stadscomponist spreker bij de Creative Saloon City of Music. dit vind plaats om 20.00 uur in het Kessels Museum\, Tilburg. Georganiseerd door EELT theatercollectief. Hieronder alle informatie: \nHeb jij ideeën om muziek (alle soorten welkom) met de stad (elke stad is mogelijk) of een andere omgeving\, te verbinden? Loop je rond met een plan voor een muzikaal project op locatie? Ben je voor jouw koor\, band of ensemble aan het verzinnen hoe je die connectie kunt maken? Dan heten we je graag van harte welkom op 28 november in het Kessels Museum in Tilburg!  \nCreative Saloon\, wat is dat ook alweer?\nJe hebt een creatief idee maar weet niet hoe je het om kunt zetten in een daadwerkelijk kunstzinnig project. Dat is ook niet makkelijk. Samen weten we meer! Tijdens de Creative Saloons van EELT ontmoeten de geraffineerde en artistieke Franse salons de provocerende\, brutale cowboys uit de saloons van het Wilde Westen elkaar. Wat dat betekent? Dat we ons samen laten inspireren\, ideeën delen\, elkaar bevragen\, op weg helpen en bestuiven met onze creativiteit en daadkracht. De Creative Saloon City of Music gaat over hoe je als kunstenaar in verbinding staat met je omgeving.     \nCreative thinking sessie    \nWat gaan we doen? We herkennen het uit de films over het Wilde Westen; de hands-on\, rokerige sfeer van een volle ‘saloon’ met kleine\, houten tafels waar het avontuurlijke pioniersbestaan hoogtij viert. Combineer dat met de intieme vrijheid van denken van een achttiende- of negentiende-eeuwse Franse ‘salon’ waar creatieve geesten elkaar ontmoeten om te filosoferen en te inspireren. Dat is de Creative Saloon die EELT voor ogen heeft. Het belangrijkste onderdeel is de mogelijkheid voor jou als maker of andere expert om te sparren over eigen ideeën met collega-creatieven. Tijdens deze Creative Thinking-sessie leggen makers in ontwikkeling hun idee voor aan collega’s. Zo verrijk jij de ideeën van je collega en geef je elkaar input. Je deelt je expertise en jouw idee wordt verhelderd. \n   \nSpreker stadscomponist Jacq Palinckx \nJacq Palinckx is componist\, gitarist en maker van beeldend werk. Hij haalt zijn inspiratie uit de gekste hoeken. Van Beethoven tot dromen en van lelijke gebouwen tot schoonheid. You might recognize it from Wild West movies: the hands-on\, smoky atmosphere of a crowded ‘saloon’ with small wooden tables where adventurous pioneers thrive. Combine that with the intimate freedom of thought of an eighteenth- or nineteenth-century French ‘salon’ where creative minds meet to philosophize and inspire. That’s the Creative Saloon that EELT has in mind. The most important part is the opportunity for you as a creator or another expert to discuss your ideas with fellow creatives. During this Creative Thinking session\, makers in development present their ideas to colleagues. This way\, you enrich the ideas of colleagues and provide each other with input. You share your expertise and clarify your idea.  \nSpeaker: City Composer Jacq Palinckx\nJacq Palinckx is a composer\, guitarist\, and visual artist. He draws his inspiration from the oddest sources\, from Beethoven to dreams\, from ugly buildings to beauty.
