SUMMARY:Strijkkwartet Skyline in Geertruidenberg
DESCRIPTION:het strijkkwartet van het Ives ensemble speelt mijn strijkkwartet ‘Skyline’ in de Geertruiskerk in Geertruidenberg. Een avond  in het kader van DE STREEK. \nDE STREEK is een concert met strijkkwartetten gebaseerd op Brabantse volksmelodieën. De componisten die eraan meewerken zijn: Anthony Fiumara\, Aart Strootman\, Amin Ebrahimi\, Stijn van der Loo en de Stadscomponist van Tilburg (dat ben ik dus\, als het ware!). Ook klinken in het concert twee historische strijkkwartetten\, ook geënt op een volksmelodie\, en worden twee Brabantse volksliederen gezongen door folk-zangeres Claire Porter\, begeleid door het strijkje. De presentatie is in handen van Tijmen Wehlburg en het concert wordt gespeeld door leden van het Ives Ensemble Strijkkwartet onder aanvoering van Emma Breedveld.

DESCRIPTION:Op zaterdag 9 september speel ik als stadscomponist een korte gitaarsolo bij de opening van de jubileumexpositie 10 jaar PARK.\nIk speel hier mijn stuk KRAP. Het begint als een onstuimige collage van thema’s en flarden uit mijn composities van de afgelopen 10 jaar. Het mondt uit in mijn speciaal voor Tilburg gemaakte (0)13-toonsreeks.

SUMMARY:Jacq en Antony Kok bij POP-UP-K in het Wilhelminapark Tilburg
DESCRIPTION:Jacq Palinckx gaat als de Stadscomponist Tilburg de komende jaren ook aan de slag met Tilburgse dichters. De eerste dichter is die hij ‘behandeld’ is Antony Kok. Antony Kok is in het begin van de vorige eeuw betrokken bij De Stijl en bij de DADA-beweging. Hij was werkzaam bij de Tilburgse spoorwegen toen Theo van Doesburg in 1914 in Tilburg als militair werd gemobiliseerd. Via korte pianocomposities op een klein boxje en een voordracht á  la de onvolprezen Kurt Schwitters  brengt Jacq gedurende de hele middag drie gedichten ten gehore. Wellicht interessant om te weten: Antony Kok speelde piano en de grootvader van Jacq was ook opgeroepen voor het leger in die tijd \nDe Stadscomponist is een inititatief van:

SUMMARY:Tracking Tilburg
DESCRIPTION:Zaterdag 18 november organiseert De Link in de LocHal Tracking Tilburg. Het belooft een zeer avontuurlijke muzikale gebeurtenis te worden. In het hele gebouw is van 12.00 uur tot 16.00 uur hedendaagse muziek te horen. Ik ben als Stadscomponist prominent aanwezig: \nVan 13.15 tot 13.45: Franssen/Palinckx spelen uit het Jacq P-songbook. Het eerste echte duo optreden van fluitiste Marieke Franssen en ikzelf op elektrische gitaar. Met nieuwe composities en een dwarsdoorsnede van mijn muziek door de jaren heen in nieuwe versies. \nVan 13.30 tot 15.00: mijn laatste  film Enantiodromia is 3x te zien. \nVan 14.00 tot 15.00: geef ik de workshop ‘maak je eigen zoemsteen’. Kom langs en je maakt je eigen snorrebot/zoemhout/bora-bora/bull roarer.Je leert ook hoe de zoemsteen te bespelen. \nVan 15.00 tot 15.45: een optreden van het orkest CoMa Eindhoven. Met oa de première van mijn compositie Amok. In deze compositie speelt de Tilburg (0)13 toonsreeks een hoofdrol \nOm 15.45: De afsluitende performance ‘Zoemsteen’ met deelnemers van de workshop\, het Tilburg Bull Roarer Ensemble en Coma Eindhoven. \nVerder: Van 12.00 tot 16.00: 20x de Stadscomponist!Op diverse plekken in de Lochal zijn de zes korte muziekvideo’s te zien die ik tot nu toe als Stadscomponist gemaakt heb voor social media\, aangevuld met veertien ‘Alle 14 goed’ video’s. \nKomt dat zien en horen!
